"Most Americans, in their heart, are liberal and progressive. It's
just a small minority of people who hate, they hate, they exist
in the politics of hate, they don't believe two consenting adults
should have the right to be in love and share their lives together
and be legally protected by the state," Moore said to applause.
"They are not patriots;
they are hate-triots, and they believe in the politics of hate-triotism.
Hate-triotism is where they stand, and patriotism is where real
Americans stand. And that is the truth and that needs to be reported,"

''They are possibly the dumbest people on the planet," Moore told
Britain's Mirror newspaper recently, referring to his fellow citizens
as a whole."
''We Americans suffer
from an enforced ignorance. We don't know about anything that's
happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing.''
''We, the United States
of America, are culpable in committing so many acts of terror and
bloodshed that we had better get a clue about the culture of violence
in which we have been active participants.''
''The Iraqis who have
risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists'
or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their
numbers will grow -- and they will win.''

Moore: Americans are 'The Dumbest People on the Planet'
"But your "desertion" didn't go away -- and here's the reason
why. You have sent countless numbers of our sons and daughters in
the National Guard to their deaths in the last 11 months. You did
this while misleading their parents and the nation with bogus lies
about weapons of mass destruction and scary phony Saddam ties to
al Qaeda. You sent them off to a never-ending war so that your benefactors
at Halliburton and the oil companies could line their pockets."
THAT is what makes
this whole business of your being AWOL so despicable, and makes
the grief-stricken relatives want to turn away from you in disgust.
"I would like to apologize for referring to George W. Bush
as a "deserter." What I meant to say is that George W. Bush is a
deserter, an election thief, a drunk driver, a WMD liar and a functional

Michael Moore is still in despair over the last US presidential
election. He calls President Bush "a thief-in-chief, a trespasser
on federal land, a squatter at the Oval Office".

people scare the crap out of me. … I have never been attacked by
a black person, never been evicted by a black person, never had
my security deposit ripped off by a black landlord, never had a
black landlord … never been pulled over by a black cop, never been
sold a lemon by a black car salesman, never seen a black car salesman,
never had a black person deny me a bank loan, never had a black

little piece of slo-mo roadkill (the media circus after the 2000

while and desperately needed to watch one more ugly seam of the

Gore received the votes of more than 90 percent of (black Floridians)
on Nov. 7, 2000. That is, 90 percent of those who were allowed to
vote. In what appears to be a mass fraud committed by the state
of Florida, (Jeb) Bush, (Katherine) Harris and company not only removed
thousands of black felons from the (voting) rolls, they also removed
thousands of black citizens who had never committed a crime in their
lives — along with
of eligible voters who had committed only misdemeanors.
"We live in a time with ficticious election results that elect
fictious presidents. We live in a time when we have a man sending

Michael Moore: “What happened to the search for Osama bin Laden?...You
don’t think they [the U.S. government] know where he is?”
Bob Costas (astonished):
“You think they know where Osama bin Laden is and it’s hands off?”
Moore: “Because he’s
funded by their friends in Saudi Arabia! He’s back living with his
sponsors, his benefactors. Do you think that Osama bin Laden planned
9-11 from a cave in Afghanistan? I can’t get a cell signal from
here to Queens! I mean, come on, let’s get real about this. The
guy has been on dialysis for two years. He’s got failing kidneys....I
think the United States, I think our government knows where he is
and I don’t think we’re going to be capturing him or killing him
any time soon.”

"Do you like where he's going on giving bigger tax breaks to the
rich?" -- the vast majority of Americans are opposed to his policies.
So that should be not surprising, considering how the majority didn't
vote for him. You know he's there illegally. You know he was not
elected either by the popular vote or by the vote in Florida."
"People who read
BuzzFlash or people like ourselves, we know all those facts about
Florida and what Katherine Harris did, and the private firm that
took African-Americans off the voting rolls and prohibited them
from voting. But I've been surprised in this first week how many
average Americans were not aware of all of the trickery and deceit
that took place in the year before the election to fix it for George
W. Bush. And if people read that -- I mean, you should see some
of the letters I've received -- they have the sickest feeling in
their gut. They're just . . . they cannot believe that the Bushes
got away with this."

BuzzFlash Interviews Michael Moore
"So today is what you call "the moment
of truth," the day that "France and the rest of world have to show
their cards on the table." I'm glad to hear that this day has finally
arrived. Because, I gotta tell ya, having survived 440 days of your
lying and conniving, I wasn't sure if I could take much more. So
I'm glad to hear that today is Truth Day, 'cause I got a few truths
I would like to share with you: "
"We know what
the real issues are that affect our daily lives -- and none of them
begin with I or end in Q. Here's what threatens us: two and a half
million jobs lost since you took office, the stock market having
become a cruel joke, no one knowing if their retirement funds are
going to be there, gas now costs almost two dollars -- the list
goes on and on. Bombing Iraq will not make any of this go away.
Only you need to go away for things to improve."

A Letter from Michael Moore to George W. Bush on the Eve
"I agree with the National Rifle Association when they say, 'Guns
don't kill people, people kill people,' " he told NBC's "Today"
show. "Except I would alter that to say, 'Guns don't kill people,
Americans kill people.' We're the only country that does this, and
we do it on an personal level in our neighborhoods and within our
families and our schools, and we do it on a global level. The American
attitude is that we believe we have a right to just go in and bomb
another country. This is where Bush is going right now, right?"
