The American author Stephen King called on Twitter
for President Donald Trump’s impeachment.
“Trump condones murder, then explains it's okay
for his daughter to do what he wanted Hillary Clinton locked up
for. Oh, and his AG is a fucking crook. Impeach,” tweeted King,
who wrote The Shining, It, and The Green Mile. The author also
called Trump a “chickenshit” for not yet visiting American troops
in active combat zones.

Stephen King ignited a social media firestorm when
he made a joke about Melania Trump's hospital stay following kidney
surgery.
On Tuesday, the White House released a statement
announcing that the First Lady underwent surgery on Monday for
a benign kidney condition. The statement said she would remain
hospitalized for the rest of the week.
King, who has spoken out against Trump on multiple
occasions, jumped on Twitter to take a jab at the president but
was slammed for his 'hateful' remark about Melania's condition.
'Not to be snarky,' King tweeted, 'but Melania can probably use
a week's rest from Blabbermouth Don. Sounds heavenly to me.'
